The Turning Point Center of Chittenden County VT is a dedicated, compassionate community that provides recovery support services in a safe, substance-free environment for individuals and families on multiple paths to self-discovery and sustained recovery. Turning Point Center’s Peer Coaches connect with patients struggling with use and addiction in UVMMC’s Emergency Department, and 83% of these patients seek continued services with TPCCC after their ED visit. This peer connection is making a tremendous difference during a critical time.
Community Health Centers Chittenden County VT
In 2012, Community Health Centers (CHC) saw tremendous growth through the newly-renovated Health Centers, allowing for more patients to make CHCB their Health Care Home. The new Health Centers allowed for increased programs and services, notably integrated psychiatry and counseling and treatment assistance for patients struggling with drug/alcohol use disorders. CHC’s story is one of continued growth, now caring for over 32,000 patients, but the pace of that growth has accelerated rapidly as community need continues to grow and as community members and partners look to us to do what we do best – provide affordable, quality health care to all who need it, regardless of financial status or life circumstance.
